We combine meticulous craftsmanship with a hands-on, full-service approach—handling everything in-house, from system design and permitting to installation and ongoing maintenance.
As a family-owned, Massachusetts-based solar company since 2015, we pride ourselves on honest communication, no-pressure consultations, and high-quality solar and energy solutions built for real-world performance.

AJ Reis
CEO & Founder
AJ provides hands-on leadership across system design, project execution, and client guidance—personally involved in every project to ensure it meets our standards for quality, performance, and long-term value.
With years of experience in solar design and installation, AJ oversees every project to ensure it’s done right from start to finish. He also builds internal systems and tools that help the company operate more efficiently, including developing the company’s CRM and project management platform.
Outside of work, AJ enjoys traveling the U.S. in his RV with Kayla, their four kids, and their dog Rocky—and is a big Formula 1 fan.
Kayla Reis
Co-Founder
Kayla oversees permitting and project coordination, with deep knowledge of local towns and requirements—ensuring every project is properly planned, approved, and executed from start to finish.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors hiking and exploring National Parks with her four kids, AJ, and their dog Rocky.
She also has a passion for photography, capturing those experiences along the way.
Luciana Reis
Director of Finance
Luciana leads financial strategy, pricing, and coordination—helping ensure every project is structured to deliver long-term value for the homeowner.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance and a Master’s in Financial Planning and Taxation from Bentley University.
Her experience includes working as a financial advisor to high-net-worth individuals and consulting with privately held businesses on financial strategy, tax planning, and long-term growth.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, and traveling.
David Reis
Project Management & Field Operations
David leads site surveys, system planning, and project coordination—working closely with engineering and utilities to ensure every system is designed accurately and executed seamlessly.
With strong hands-on field experience, David is actively advancing his electrical training and licensing—bringing both practical expertise and technical precision to every project.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors, biking, and exploring with his dog Indie and his girlfriend.

A Message from Our Founder
“Future Energy Solar is a family-run company operating out of Woburn, Massachusetts.
Like many, our mission is to deliver high-quality solar installations with precision and care—matched with fast, respectful support after the job is done.
Solar installation is demanding, physical work. It takes strength, skill, bravery, and long days in tough conditions. Over time, it takes a real toll on the human body. That’s why our mission here goes beyond just solar energy. My mission as Founder has always been to create a truly fair workplace.
We exist to create better lives for the people doing the hard work—because without the men and women who put their lives on the line climbing up roofs, none of this would be possible. In turn, we pay higher-than-fair wages so our team can thrive, not just survive. When you take care of your workers—and I’ve seen this firsthand—the level of respect they have for each other and the company is off the charts.
Paying well has decreased our error rate by at least 98%. And when the team does make a mistake, which is rare and always minor, we re-center and go on another streak of excellence. I hope to continue building more teams and changing lives in the process. Creating dedicated workers is the goal.
