About This Project
Installed in 2019, this 9.75 kW DC solar system powers a single-family home in Franklin, MA with clean, efficient energy. The system features 30 Panasonic VBHN325KA03 black panels, known for their excellent performance in both high heat and low light conditions — ideal for maximizing output year-round in New England’s varied climate.
The system runs on a SolarEdge 7600HD Wave string inverter paired with power optimizers, providing panel-level monitoring and enhanced energy harvest, while maintaining the cost-effectiveness of a centralized inverter design. This hybrid setup ensures each panel performs at its best, even if shading or debris affects one part of the array.
The array is secured using IronRidge racking, a trusted industry standard known for its structural strength, durability, and ability to withstand harsh weather — ensuring the system stays solidly in place for decades.
In its first year, the system produced 10,400 kWh and has reduced approximately 40 tons of CO₂ emissions to date.
