Program: MySolar Loan

How the UMassFive MySolar Loan Works (with Future Energy Solar)

Step 1: Apply for Pre-Approval

Visit UMassFive’s website to apply for the MySolar Loan and get pre-approved. The process is quick, and their team is available to walk you through your loan options.

Step 2: Become a Member

To receive funding, you’ll need to become a UMassFive member—but don’t worry, it’s easy and can be done during the loan process.

Step 3: Loan Disbursement (Part 1)

Once approved and your system design is finalized with us, UMassFive will release 60% of the loan funds at the time of contract signing.

Step 4: Installation & Final Disbursement

We complete your installation and submit proof of utility interconnection. At that point, the remaining 40% of the loan is disbursed.

Step 5: Start Repayment

Your loan includes a 12-month interest-only period, giving you time to claim your federal and state tax credits before full payments begin. After that, you'll move into standard monthly principal + interest payments.

How the Atmos Solar Loan Works (with Future Energy Solar)

Step 1: Prequalify Online

Start by securely entering your info on Atmos’ website to check your loan eligibility—no impact on your credit score.

Step 2: We Submit Your Project Details

Once you’re working with Future Energy Solar, we’ll send Atmos your full system design and project info so they can build a loan tailored to your install.

Step 3: Review Your Loan Offer

Atmos will create a custom solar loan based on your system size, tax credit eligibility, and preferred terms—including 0% APR on the ITC amount and no payments for the first 6 months.

Step 4: Final Approval & E-Sign

After reviewing your offer, you’ll complete the final credit check, confirm your terms, and sign your loan documents electronically.

Step 5: Move Forward with Installation

Once everything is approved, we’ll schedule your installation and get your system up and running.
