Solar Consultant (Independent Contractor — Greater Boston Area)
What You'll Do
Educate homeowners on the benefits of going solar
Run consultations (in-person or virtual) and qualify homes
Present proposals using our digital tools (training provided)
Follow up with warm leads and generate new ones through networking, canvassing, or referrals
Coordinate with our design and ops teams for smooth installs
Track activity in our CRM and manage your sales pipeline
What We’re Looking For
Prior solar or in-home sales experience is a plus, but not required
Great communication and self-motivation
Comfortable managing your own time as a contractor
Reliable transportation to meet with clients
Tech-savvy and able to learn our platforms quickly
Bilingual is a plus
Compensation
100% commission-based | Average range: $50,000 – $120,000/year
Company provides: warm leads, marketing support, proposal tools, and full training.
Lead Solar Installer (Full-Time – Greater Boston Area)
What You'll Do
Lead rooftop solar installations from layout to final inspection
Train and guide your crew while keeping jobs safe, clean, and on schedule
Work with battery storage and EV charger installs (with electrician support)
Handle system checks, jobsite quality, and customer communication
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of solar install experience (required)
Proven leadership experience (preferred)
Comfortable on rooftops and in all-weather conditions
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical install standards
OSHA 10 (minimum), OSHA 30 or NABCEP a plus
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Pay & Benefits
$40–$60/hour based on experience, certifications, and leadership ability
